Classic Must-Have Primers | MUNAZZA BANGASH

I previously wrote a post giving you all the information about primers (click to read) and in this post I will talk about some of the classic primers that you can have in your collection. I will not specifically talk about why a certain primer is good, or any new launches, but I’ll showcase some of the best products that have been loved in the past by beauty enthusiasts. If you wanna build your kit, keep on reading.

Disclaimer: I have not tried each and every one of the following primers, this post is the result of research on what people are loving.
Also, you can easily google any of the following products for further details. If you would like me to review any of them, don’t forget to leave a comment. I will try and get my hands on it and review it for you guys! ❤

Eye Primers

M.A.C Pro Long wear Paint Pot
– “A long-wearing blendable cream shadow that can be worn alone or with other products.” It’s a shadow but you must have seen Nikkie Tutorials using this underneath her eyeshadow various times.

Urban Decay Primer Potion – “Urban Decay eyeshadow primer keeps your eyeshadow crease-free and in place for up to 24 hours.” Who hasn’t heard about the primer potion? It is considered a classic.

Nyx Eyeshadow Base
– “Maximize the intensity, longevity and brilliance of your eyeshadow statements with our eyeshadow primer pots.” – To make any shadow pop, this is the best thing to put on your lids.

Lip Primer

M.A.C. Prep + Prime Lip: “A color-free lipstick base that adds light moisture, smooths and refines.” It’s a cult favorite.

Face Primers

Let’s quickly get through these as there are many primers that are good. If I missed any of your favorite primers, make sure to mention them in the comments below. I would love to try them.

Guerlain L’Or Pure Radiance Face Primer – “L’Or Make-up Primer is truly worth its weight in gold. The 24-carat gold-infused cooling gel sinks into the skin, retaining moisture. Applied to bare skin, this primer smooths fine lines and tightens the look of facial features, providing an even finish under makeup. It is ideal for normal to dry skin types.”

Benefit Pore-fessional: “Quickly minimize the appearance of pores & fine lines for smoother-than-smooth skin! Apply this silky, lightweight balm alone, under or over makeup. The translucent formula contains a vitamin E derivative known to protect skin from free radicals.”

Marc Jacobs Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer: “Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer brings the refreshing feel of coconut to your face while it perfects and extends makeup wear. With its hydrating, nutrient-rich formula, it is especially ideal for normal to dry skin types to create a smooth and improved skin surface before foundation application.”

Rimmel Stay Matte Primer: “Ultra lightweight formula that minimizes the appearance of pores. Controls shine for up to 8 hours creating a soft, perfectly matte complexion. Won’t feel heavy or greasy.”

Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer: “Elevate your foundation to unprecedented performance with this state-of-the-art primer that extends the wear of foundation for a perfect complexion that lasts.”

Becca Velvet Blurring Primer Perfecting Base: “A liquid-to-powder primer that blurs imperfections, brightens skin, smooths texture and controls oil.”

Flower Beauty In Your Prime Perfecting Primer: “Flower Beauty In Your Prime Skin Perfecting Primer creates a smooth and even surface so skin is prepped for what comes next.”

Makeup Revolution Ultra Face Base Primer: “Our ULTRA Face Base primer is the perfect primer to provide the perfect base under your foundation. It smoothes out the skin to create an even canvas so your foundation is flawless and lasts all day!”
My personal favorite, and the most affordable.

Maybelline Baby Skin Primer: “Instant Pore Eraser® leaves skin with a smooth matte finish and moisturizes all day.”

And that’s it, you guys! I know I haven’t given much details as to why the primer works, but that’s because this post is research based and I didn’t want to add my two cent without trying the product. But if you’d like me to review a product, I will definitely get my hands on it for you! Just leave a comment.

Thank you so much for hanging out with me!
